Fitness and Romance

If I had to choose one thing, (although I can think of many!) that can have the largest impact on your Romance, I, without a single hesitation, would have to say it is your fitness level. I am going to be honest here, completely honest. If you are not fit, or on the road to fitness, your Romance is suffering.

I an not talking about losing weight here. Sexy come is all shapes and sizes. I am talking about taking care of your health and your body. (WARNING!! One of the side effects to practicing healthy diet and exercise is weight loss...)

The benefits of being physically fit on you Romance start with an inhale. Breathing in oxygen assists with circulation, which in turns assists with sensitivity to touch. So right from the very start you can feel more. Muscles who are getting proper oxygen levels can work harder and last longer. Since the man's member is mostly a muscle, well, you can do the math here. For women, this means you can move with the changes! Specifically for women, and this is very important, in order for a woman to have an OoooOoo moment, she needs to breath! A woman's body requires lots of oxygen for those big O's! The more oxygen, the bigger the O! (If your a woman and your having a hard time experiencing an O moment, make sure your not holding your breath! Just exhale, honey, just exhale...)

Another side effect of being psychically fit? Self-esteem. Yes, your mental health is directly effected by your physical health!Self esteem has a direct effect on your Romance! This is an amazing circle folks! Since you feel better, your stronger, jiggly parts aren't as jiggly your going to like yourself more!

Endorphins: Need I day more? They are our bodies natural effect of exercise. These naughty lil guys run through our bodies causing all kinds of things to happen from improving your mood to improving your mood (if you get my drift here...) I call them natural antidepressants (I also call them Happy Dolphins, but if you knew why you'd think I am out of my damned mind.. and you'd be right of course, but you don't need to know all this!) After exercising I get this rush of energy all over me, even when I had been tired, and sad... Having some Romance time during that... well, yeah I shower first, but those naughty lil guys can last for hours! I need to do SOMETHING productive with them!

If your Romance life is suffering, try getting into good shape (and no, I don't mean round... round is a shape, but not THE shape we are talking about here!) after about 6 weeks, when yours starting to notice some differences, you'll be surprised you'll be seeing a difference in the bedroom as well!

Chick's Passions Labs

Things are pretty busy in the "Chick's Lab" these days. Granted, the Chick's Lab is just our dining room table I use for a work space, where I tend to be experimenting with different ideas the last few days. I have been popping out a few different types of pieces, watching how to video on youtube and just being creative. My area at the table is a mess, beads everywhere, experiments everywhere, and if your trying to come over to be near me for any reason you might want to put on some house shoes as I tend to drop things including tiny pieces of wire that feel like torture devices to bare feet. (um yeah, experience!) I am very thankful for a more than understanding husband, whom I know is not a fan of my messes, but he tolerates it without complaining too much.

Sometimes I get frustrated, because it doesn't always feel like I have all the materials at hand I need to complete the experiments I am working on. I have all these ideas in my head to try, so many that it becomes overwhelming. There was a time that being overwhelmed like that I would just give up and not try at all. All those thoughts would be crazy bouncing around in my brain like some sort of super bouncy ball stuck in a pin ball machine. I could never put them in order before, so either old age is setting in and I have less padding in my brain for them to bounce off of. Or I am getting better at filing them into the proper drawers and folders that make up a person's brain thoughts. Anyway, the thoughts don't equal materials, and I no longer live in a place I can just get into my car and drive 5 minutes to pick up supplies on a whim. The lists of materials I want to try is growing longer and longer ever second.

I already have a few finished pieces that at fit to sell posted at my etsy shop. I find each and every single one gorgeous and my muse has absolutely outdone herself helping me create them. She doesn't seem to have the same great sense of humour I do, and takes her job of using my hands to mold or transform objects into greatness very seriously. I have to keep my sens of humor in check while she's around or she disappears into the great unknown of wherever muses go when they aren't with us.

I took some cell phone snaps of some of last nights experiments. The buzz around here is to wait until daylight to take photos for my etsy shop with my real camera. It seems a better idea to photograph them in natural light as the beads and wires tend to give off glare from other light sources. (including the light bulb over my head.) (No, really, there is a lamp above me!)

I'm pretty sure a couple of these will become gifts, and they may never see the light that has become to be known as my lil etsy shop and that is perfectly fine with me. Giving my creations a new home besides the shoe box I keep them all in for safe keeping is a far better fate for them! A Walk in the Park

I fully intended to introduce you all to my Chick's Passions jewelry today, I fully intended to spend the day making more jewelry to post onto my Etsy account. But, instead, there were other plans in the making and I only managed to give up on one experimental piece (just for now!) and complete a Tree of Life Pendant in Purple and Blue (and even that isn't completely done yet!) Those things were not accomplished, but there was a lot accomplished at the same time.

I took test pictures, trying to bring out the best that I can do with my camera and the little bit of knowledge I have gained. I did some household chores and even made chili!

But the one thing that I did that meant the most is go to the park and spend a little bit of time with the husband while he ran his RC boat, which I know means the world to him. I gave my time, took some amazing video for him and then took incredible shots of his boat on the water. It is a win win for the two of us! He loves his boats (not nearly as much as he loves me!) and I love freezing time with my camera!

After getting some great shots, I decided I was going to go explore a little with my camera. We have only been to this park a few times and I had yet to let my adventurous side out and allow my camera to be my tour guide.

 
There is this gorgeous wooden bridge surrounded by water and tons of foliage. Crank up my senses! Turn on my creative side and I was in heaven for a few brief minutes.


While taking shot after shot, testing the camera in ways I hadn't done before, I met a dog. He came from around the corner of tall grass, mud up to his cute doggy ankles, sniffing around trying to find whatever it is dogs sniff around for. I stood still on the bridge, not knowing for a brief
second if the dog had a human pet, or if he was somehow lost and scared. He looked at me, I am sure thinking pretty much the same thing, then walked across the bridge and right on past me. He then walked to the the water and climbed on in! I hurried and took a shot of him in the water. Just then his human pet came around the corner. He was an older man, and all dressed for the hike he was taking with his beloved companion. He seemed like a very happy and gentle man, and I was happy to encounter them both on my adventure. He introduced his dog, Joshua to me and then held him still so I could take one more picture. He told me that Joshua loves his walks, and I believed him as I haven't seen a dog more happy to be out in nature in a long time. (my own dog, my tiny tea cup, can fit in the palm of my hand dog, would be too afraid of the bridge to dare get near it! She's afraid of ants which are about the same size as her to begin with!)  I never caught the man's name. Although, I won't soon be forgetting Joshua and his human pet. They were quite the couple and put a warm smile on my face!

 It is now time for me to settle down for the evening, maybe I can finish that one last piece of jewelry before I head off to dream land! Or, just maybe I will just sit here, all stuffed from the yummy chili and warm cheesy garlic biscuits and play around with my photos some how! Monday morning is right around the corner, and I will be well rested and ready for the weeks adventures!

Spring Clean Your Love Life Day 5!

Last tip for Spring Clean Your Love Life! I have had a lot of fun bringing you these tips and I promise to keep on educating you. Since this is my first real blog, I really hope you will comment and let me know what you think, if you have an suggestions, or just want to ask for advice or questions. I am very lucky that I operate Chick's Passions and have the tools at hand to learn all about Romance and other areas of a woman's sexual health. We all want what happens in the bedroom to be memorable every time! This is what I would like to pass on to all of you... So, I am getting down from my soap box  now and here is your last tip, Day 5!

Forget about date night: This is not to say that you shouldn't schedule dates as you always have with your partner, what it means is "Be spontaneous!" It doesn't have to be date night for you to embrace wherever the mood takes you. If you just go with the flow, you may just find yourself entangled in the sheets mid Saturday wrapped around your partner with sweat pouring off you as you both have collapsed after one hot love making session... don't laugh, it can happen... and now.. I think I am going to go forget about date night!

Spring Clean Your Love Life! Day 4

Here is Day 4 of Spring Clean Your Love Life! This is another one of those psychological things! Hmmm... Maybe I should have been a therapist!
Exercise your Romance: How does anyone become a professional? By practice! Want to be more of a romantic lover? Exercise by pretending to be a more romantic lover, everyday. Want to be the hot mama your man can't keep his eyes AND hands off of? Exercise by being that hot mama!
Leave time every day to BE a lover in what ever capacity you wish to be a lover. Just like your work out schedule, if you decide NOT to go work out, then your muscles decide to stop being firm. After enough times of skipping that work out you will be out of shape everywhere. Your Romance works the same way. Practice practice PRACTICE being the lover you want to be, and before you know it, you will be THAT LOVER!

Spring Clean Your Love Life Day 3!

Due to an issue with my Internet last night I was unable to post Day 3, so, I am bringing it to you today. I hope you learn and enjoy this one! It's probably one of my favorites!

Know your body: Our bodies are constantly going through cycles, and then those cycles go through cycles... there are menstrual cycles, prenatal cycles, post menopause, menopause for women, and then men have their very own bio rhythms and cycles. In other words, our bodies are in constant change. What your body craves to feel today maybe something completely different tomorrow. What excited you yesterday may even hurt today. What turned you on last week, might turn you completely off next week. Know your body, listen to it well. Know when it is thirsty, hungry, or in the mood for chocolate cake. Know the difference between needing cuddles and needing romance.

Do you realize that many of us have a road block to our Romance from the time we were too little to know what our body parts are called? Our parents wired us to think that touching our own private areas was a "no-no" and that anything to do with sex is "bad." We take that with us to adulthood. But, it is part of human nature to explore, or why would we do it at such a young age to begin with?

Time to let go of those old myths and wives tales! Release your inner passions just by exploring your own body and figuring out what feels good! Then be sure to communicate your wants to your partner, whether it be your spouse, long time significant other or just a one night stand. Very few people are telepathic. No, you can not just wish in your head and have your partner KNOW exactly what you want. Especially when you aren't so sure you know yourself. 
Every person is different. What might feel good to one woman, what may work to achieve that feeling for that person may be completely different to another woman. Same goes for men, what makes one man wildly out of control may make another man just "ehe" as he shrugs his shoulders and waits for you to figure out what to try next. Time to let go of the old way of thinking and touch yourself and touch yourself often. If you don't know what turn you on, then how can you expect your partners to know?

Spring Clean Your Love Life! Day 2

Day 2 focuses on a more physical level that has some amazing psychological results! Plus, your already spring cleaning your home. Just take a few more steps to help Spring Clean Your Love Life!

Clean up your bedroom: Your bedroom should be a Romance Oasis! It should be clean, and filled with things that remind you of how you feel about you and your partner. This is not the place to hang pictures of your children or other family members; your subconscious knows that your children or grandma are watching you through those pictures! (Ok, not REALLY, but your subconscious does not always think logically.) Set up soft lighting and some scented candles (stay away from strong scents your partner does not like.) Stock up on all of your favorite play toys, favorite lotions and lubes!

Clean sheets. Yes, clean sheets. Place clean sheets on your bed every time you want to make love, eventually your lover will associate the smell of clean sheets with love making! (Again with that subconscious thing!) While your Spring Cleaning your home, take the time to change your bedroom into a Romance Oasis, your Love Life will thank you for it!

Spring Clean Your Love Life!

Here in Western New York we are enjoying unseasonable spring like weather and the weekend is quickly approaching! Ahh, the freshness and renewing spirit of it all! And then it hits us, with the windows open, and all of winter's stash of clutter it is time to CLEAN!! Get rid of the dust and the cob webs, throw out the accumulated trash that is no one's treasures, vacuum, dust, sweep, mop, wash, fold, wipe, wipe, wipe, wipe... and sweat... Spring Cleaning in all it's glory. Many of us will be spending the weekend doing just that. Making everything look bright and shiney, crisp and clean.
How about other areas of our lives? Health and wellness? How is your relationship with yourself? Your children? Your husband/wife/significant other? How about your Romance department?
Spring is the time of the year to get twitterpated! Fall in love with someone, or someone again or maybe even yourself. There is no better time of the year to do so, I am pretty sure that it is in our biology, built right in there next to the need to breath, eat, and be sheltered. Spring time just brings out the amore in all of us! It's just like when that moon hits your eyes thing, you just.can't.duck.fast.enough!
Spring time is a great time to do Spring Cleaning on your relationships to help pave the way for a better mental health and better Romance. Over the course of the next 5 nights I will be bringing you  tips to help you Spring Clean Your Love Life and get your Romance in Shape!

Without further A-do let's get you started!

1. Let go of the baggage: Women in particular tend to be the worst at this one. It's almost like they wear their past hurts like a badge of courage for the whole world to see. I know, I know, I am generalizing here, but sit down with any woman who you have gained their trust from and they will tell you about every single past lover who has jilted them in anyway, shape or form. And they say elephants never forget! Ask a man who has done wrong by a woman, they know they will never live it down.
   It's time to let go of all that past hurt. Learn the lesson it taught you, forget the hurt. If you look at it this way, your either still with the person who hurt you or you have let them go. If you are still with that person you very well may be doing irreversible damage to the relationship if you are hanging onto past hurts. And if you have let that person go then there is no need to hold onto the baggage anymore. Also, you are not letting yourself be free to feel again. Shutting off a part of yourself can keep you from fully feeling Romance. Just give yourself permission to let it all go and start fresh again!

The Chick's Passions Party Experience

As of right now I am not doing parties. In the future I will let you know when! Also, I am no longer affiliated with Party Gals. It was a bitter sweet good-bye, but one in which I believe was the best in action for me, to be able to grow and move forward.

Hi all my Lovies! Thanks for stopping back. I appreciate your support on my blog while I figure out how I am going to use it, gain an nice little audience, and entertain you all!

I am an Adult In Home Romance Party Planner, my specific title is Romance Specialist. What is this you ask? Well, in a nut shell I come to your home and help you throw the best damn toy party that will have your friends talking at the water cooler for months! I use Party Gals as my catalyst, this is where I buy my products from to sell to you and your friends. This is my business, this is what I do. I sell Romance products for women and couples in a non-shameful environment, such as your own home.

First and foremost Chick's Passions Parties are FREE, always have been and always will be! I pride myself on giving the hostess the best Chick's Passions experience that time will buy. My goal is to help you earn as many FREE PRODUCTS as possible. My secondary goal is to educate woman on Romance products and being sure you are ordering exactly what you are looking for.

Your experience starts the second you choose to throw a Chick's Passions Party. I am with you from that moment until the moment you receive your products, and when you are ready to re-order, plan your next party, or just ask for advice!

At a Chick's Passions Party you and your guests will be educated on each product I bring. This is where I will inspire all 5 of your senses! You get to see, touch, hear, smell and taste the products! I will show you the product (seeing), tell you how it works and/or turn it on (hearing) I will pass it around to all the guest (touching), allow the potions to be tried by sample requests, smelling them and tasting the edibles! (touching, smelling and tasting!) This is the most amazing part of the event! You will NOT be disappointed!

Finally, there will be a wonderful game of your choice to play while I set up my order room and clean up after myself. This is also the time that you and your guests get to go through the catalog and make your choices, write down any questions you may have about products, and prepare to enter the order room for a one on one consoltation. I do ask that ALL your guests meet with me, even if they are not placing an order. It is imperative that I have the chance to answer ALL questions that anyone may have! It is all a part of the experience! At the end of ordering, I will pack up the rest of my items, help you with clean up in your home and then bid you and your guests a farewell as I head to my car and drive to my home to place all of your lovely orders!

I am in constant contact with you and your guests while the orders are being processed. Orders take typically between 2 and 3 weeks to reach you, the hostess, where they are packaged individually in "no peek" packages. From there, as the Hostess you will distribute them to your guests for their Romance Pleasures!! (Although, if there have been prior arrangements made with a guest, they may receive there order directly to thier home!)

What is expected from you as a Hostess? First and foremost, your job is to make this process as simple for yourself as possible. I only require 4 things:

1. You remain upbeat and positive through out the entire Chick's Passions experience! If you have any questions or concerns, keep me informed! I am not a mind reader, I do not know that you are having an issue unless you tell me there is an issue! We can work around all issues together, to make this your BEST PARTY EVER! Keep it simple, I want you to be part of YOUR PARTY! Refreshments and snacks should be kept to a minimum, I do not want you to be running around during my demo taking orders for your guests and missing all the important information!
2. Remember I am not the FREE entertainment. I want to give you FREE PRODUCTS! In order to do so you are going to have to give it your all! Outside orders are imperative to give you the most FREE PRODUCTS you can earn! Show that catalog I gave you to EVERYONE, even those who you don't think have any interest in the products. I sell products for everyone from the ages of 18-99! There are products for both sexes and all sexual orientations! This is how I can keep these parties free!
3. All orders are confidential. You MUST provide a private area for consultation and ordering. This can be as simple as a bedroom with a table for me to write on or a different area of the house where your guests will not interrupt another guest, and the consultation cannot be over heard by anyone else. At a Co-Ed Party or where couples may come together they will be allowed to join the ordering room together. There are no exceptions to this rule. I am bound by contract to keep this part of my business private.
4. Finally, YOU are in charge of your guests. This is YOUR home, and I will treat you, your home, and each and every one of your guests with respect. I require you to do the same to me and expect that you will be sure your guests follow suit.

Here is a new adventure for me, blogging about me, my company, my Parties, my Passions. I am a goal setter, and I am setting a goal of once a week. That's not to say I won't be blogging more, but my goal is once a week. Thank you for taking the time to come visit me! Now keep me in line, because sometimes, as a busy business owner, with a family, and a full time job I need reminders to keep me on track!

First off, I suppose an introduction is necessary. Hi, my name is Sherry Chick, and I am the proud owner of Chick's Passions, Romance Consultant for at Home Adult Romance Party Planning. I have a wonderful family, a full time job that I love, and then I have my business that I am very passionate about.

I welcome questions, about Romance for women and couples, about my business and how you too can start your very own at home party consulting business, and about myself. Aside from my passion for my family, business and my job, I am very passionate about my health and well being. I work out, eat as healthy as I can and try to maintain a healthy relationship with myself. This includes regular mental health check-ups between my heart, sexuality, desires and self esteem. I am only human, I can't love myself all the time, but I can check my negativity about the things I do not like at the door. I make sure I am focusing on the things I do like about myself instead.

I am not sure exactly where this blog will be heading, but I know where it won't go. I am not going to create a blog that is another catalog. While I may review products, it won't be every post. I want to share with you, educate you, entertain you with my certain whitti-ness (insert silly face here) and most of all, I want to engage you.
